Azerbaijan Airlines allows you to carry pets of larger dimensions in the hold of the aircraft

Transporting pets in the aircraft hold

The transport of larger animals in the hold is permitted (not on all aircrafts) and is not included in the normal baggage allowance.

The transport of live animals in the hold to/from European destinations is permitted, but is not included in the normal baggage allowance. The cost of this service depends on the weight and size of the animal and the cage that houses it, as follows:

Total weight of animal and cage under 32 kg - 90 EUR
Total weight of animal and cage between 32 kg and 75 kg - 170 EUR
Oversized cage - over 203 cm in size (sum of three sizes) - 170 EUR

N.B. For flights to/from extra-European destinations, we invite you to contact us to assess if the transport of live animals in the hold is possble and to verify the relevant costs.
